PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION & BOOK LAUNCH

This isn’t really a book about photography.

Photography was simply the way I found my way back.

This book is about the things we love but keep putting aside.

Inside the book

110 pages of photography and short & long reflections about:

  • Creativity and the courage to begin
  • Learning to notice again
  • Finding your own voice
  • Changing without losing yourself
  • The fear of being seen
  • Returning to things you once loved
  • Ikigai and the things that make life feel like yours

Designed as a visual conversation, with photographs and short pieces you can read slowly, return to, underline, or simply sit with.

Author: Mariam Megrdichian

I’m Mariam, a self-taught photographer and creative based in Los Angeles.

I’ve been drawn to photography since I was a kid, always trying to notice something interesting in ordinary places, people, light, and small moments.

For years, I worked in design and marketing, but eventually I came back to the thing I loved most: photography, creating, and sharing the way I see the world.

This book came from that return. It’s a collection of photographs and thoughts about creativity, change, noticing more, and finding your way back to the parts of yourself you may have left behind.
